A 22-year-old Fallon man has been sentenced to up to seven years in prison for stabbing another man four times with a pocket knife near a bar in June.
Charles Inman pleaded no contest to battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm for the June 2 attack on Christopher Hansen, 32.
He was sentenced Tuesday by District Judge David Huff.
Authorities say the attack was motivated by Hansen's alleged affair with Inman's wife.
Hansen told the court he tried to intervene when Inman began banging his wife's head against a wall.
