Man Stabbed While Sleeping in Reno Home

RENO, NV - Reno Police say a man who was sleeping at a home in southwest Reno was stabbed several times early this morning. The stabbing happened at about 4:00 am inside the home at 3855 Raven Way, close to the intersection of McCarran Boulevard & Skyline Drive.

Police say an ambulance transported the victim to a Reno hospital where he underwent surgery. The victim is now recovering from his injuries.

Through interviews with witnesses, detectives identified Robert Yarber, a 38 year old male, as a potential witness sought for questioning in this case. Robert Yarber is described to be homeless and is known to frequent various locations in and around Reno.
