Guilty Plea in Reno Murder Case

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A 32-year-old Reno man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for shooting and killing another man who was riding a bicycle.

Gordon Carey faces up to life in prison with possible parole for the November 2006 killing of 37-year-old George "Cowboy" Kelly Jr.

Prosecutors say Kelly was on a bike and Carey was in the back seat of a car when they began yelling at each other and the confrontation escalated. Carey will be sentenced in May.
