- DNA technology that wasn't available four decades ago will be front and center in a Reno courtroom where a 64-year-old woman is trying to overturn her murder conviction after spending more than 30 years in prison.
- Washoe County codes covering dangerous dogs, puppy mills, exotic animals and retail shops haven't been updated in nearly 10 years. Animal Control says that needs to change. The agency is having a series of meetings on the proposed new codes.
