RENO – United Airlines faced a major “network outage” today, and is now working to get all flights back on time.
The airline appeared to have solved the technology problems by Tuesday evening, and its website was working again after being down.
United Continental Holdings Inc. has been having computer issues off and on since March.
Passengers are lighting up social media with complaints, concerns, and photos of the outage impact. There are pictures from passengers of hand-written boarding passes.
KOLO 8 News Now checked the Reno International Airport website. There are 3 United flights out of Reno Tuesday evening, and their status at this point is unknown.
