Thursday October 11th is National Coming Out Day.
The Human Rights Campaign reports that there's no better time to send a message that you want your elected officials to come out in support of LGBT equality.
Every year on National Coming Out Day, they celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or as an ally. This year's theme is "Come Out. Vote."
