Jacksonville, FL - A Florida man has been indicted for first-degree murder, accused of killing a 17-year-old boy he says was in self-defense.
Michael Dunn is also charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder for the shooting last month at a Jacksonville gas station.
The incident allegedly started because of loud music coming from a car at the gas station.
Dunn told police he asked the teens in the car to turn down the blaring music, and heard the boys making threats.
He says he felt threatened and thought he saw a gun inside the car.
Police say Dunn grabbed his gun and fired at least eight shots, killing Jordan Davis.
No guns were found inside the teens' car.
Dunn was originally charged with second-degree murder, but this week a grand jury indicted him on the more serious charge of first-degree murder.
