President Obama will continue an annual tradition Wednesday and pardon two Thanksgiving turkeys. But, the animal rights group PETA is crying foul. The two chosen birds, Cobbler and Gobbler, come from a Virginia farm.
The public got to vote on Facebook on which one should be this year's National Thanksgiving Turkey.
In a letter, the head of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals called for the White House to skip the "outdated" tradition...saying it makes makes light of the mass slaughter of 46-million birds.
The letter asks Americans to forgo meat and chose a healthy Tofurky roast for Thanksgiving dinner instead.
