Police in Maine seized an arsenal of guns from a man over the weekend and they say he told them he'd just seen the new Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises."
A state trooper stopped 49-year-old Timothy Courtois on the Maine Turnpike, where he was reportedly driving at 112 miles per hour.
They say he had an assault rifle, four handguns, several boxes of ammunition and news clippings about the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
Troopers say he later told them he'd been to the Batman movie with a loaded handgun in his backpack.
Courtois also allegedly told state police he was on his way to New Hampshire to shoot a former employer.
He was charged with having a concealed weapon.
