Kraft is urging customers not to eat certain varieties of its Kraft American Singles.

Kraft is urging customers not to eat certain varieties of its Kraft American Singles. The company is voluntarily recalling 7,691 cases of the pasteurized cheese product because a supplier did not store an ingredient used in the product in accordance with Kraft's temperature standards. This could create conditions that could lead to premature spoilage and/or food borne illness.

The following varieties are being recalled:

12 oz. Kraft American Singles (16 slices)

16 oz. Kraft American Singles (24 slices) (36 count case)

Kraft is unaware of anyone getting sick from eating products associated with this recall. However, as a precaution, it is telling customers not to eat them. They should return them to the store for an exchange or full refund.
