FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – Several news agencies in southern Florida are reporting Broward County officials have declared a cold weather emergency lasting most of this week, into next Tuesday.
The weather, being described as CBS Miami’s online article this way:
"With temperatures forecast to plunge into the mid-40s during the
week, Broward County has declared a multi-night cold weather
Miami’s NBC station reports the Salvation Army opened emergency shelters for the homeless, where 100 people showed up to “have a place to escape the elements.”
