Many in Long Island are still in the dark more than two weeks after Superstorm Sandy. The power company is promising 99 percent of all customers will have power back no later than today. Several protests are popping up with people calling the help "too little too late".
Parts of the midwest are seeing one of the worst droughts in history. Northwest Missouri is under an extreme drought. For farmers that means an inconsistent harvest. The long term forecast shows little relief in sight.
A rare November tornado blew through part of Minnesota late Saturday night. Many people say they didn't even see it coming. Most of the damage was blown down trees and power lines. No injuries have been reported.
