ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) - The Coast Guard says a dive team has recovered the body of a 32-year-old crab fisherman who fell from a boat about 10 miles off the mouth of the Columbia River near the Oregon-Washington border.
He wasn't immediately identified.
The Coast Guard says the man was wearing rain gear and a jacket when he fell off the crab boat Ballad on Thursday afternoon.
Two helicopters and three boats helped search for the man. A Clatsop County, Ore., dive team found his body in waters near Astoria.
On Tuesday, the Coast Guard rescued three people from a sinking crab boat near the entrance to Coos Bay, Ore. No injuries were reported, but the vessel Manatee eventually sank at the Coos Bay river bar entrance.
