MENOMONIE, Wis. (AP) - Police say a man suspected of fatally shooting three brothers at a birthday party in western Wisconsin died Monday morning at an area hospital.
Police have said 23-year-old Geu Tou Vang of St. Paul, Minn., shot and killed the brothers late Saturday and wounded another man before shooting himself.
Menomonie Police Lt. Chris Langlois says Vang died about 8:45 a.m. Monday at Luther Midelfort Hospital in Eau Claire.
Vang is suspected of killing the brothers during an argument at the Evergreen Isle trailer part Saturday night. Police say Vang knew the men but was a guest of one of their female relatives.
Authorities say they do not believe the shooting was gang- or drug-related.
