GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A coroner says two bodies found in a western Kentucky lake are two teenage hunters who have been missing since their boat sank last month.
Coroner Mitchell Lee tells The Paducah Sun that the bodies of McKenzie Stanley, 18, and Jacob Scott, 17, were found Tuesday evening.
Stanley and Scott have been missing since their small boat sank on Kentucky Lake while they were duck hunting. A companion, 18-year-old Trevor Williams, died, but a fourth hunter in the boat, Tyler Heathcott, was rescued near shore.
Rescue workers searched the lake every day through Jan. 27, but were forced to halt search efforts when a massive ice storm paralyzed the state. The search resumed earlier this month.
