CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say four teens are being held on $50,000 bail in the videotaped beating of a neighbor on her stoop "for fun" outside Philadelphia.
Chester Police Commissioner Joseph Bail Jr. held a news conference Friday. That's a day after the 16- and 17-year-old girls were arrested for the alleged attack on a 48-year-old woman authorities described as "mentally challenged."
They've been charged as adults with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, burglary and harassment.
Authorities say the victim was punched, kicked and hit with a shoe and chair. They say she suffered cuts and bruises but no broken bones. She's said to be at a crisis unit.
