WASHINGTON (AP) - Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been released from a hospital a week after undergoing surgery for pancreatic cancer.
In a statement, the court said Friday that doctors had determined her tumor was in the early stage, TNM Stage 1, and that the cancer had not spread to her lymph nodes.
The court said the 75-year-old Ginsburg has returned to her home in Washington to recuperate. She had been at the Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York since her operation on Feb. 5.
Ginsburg has indicated she will be at the court when the justices next hear arguments on Feb. 23.
