Toronto Star names Michael Cooke editor

NEW YORK (AP) - Michael Cooke, the current editor-in-chief of the Chicago Sun-Times, is leaving the newspaper to become editor of the Toronto Star, Canada's largest newspaper, beginning March 1.

Cooke has previously worked at the Star and he is also a former editor-in-chief of the New York Daily News, the Toronto Star said.
