BOSTON (AP) - A Boston Fire Department ladder truck has crashed
through a brick wall and into a high-rise apartment building.
Several other vehicles have been smashed in the accident Friday.
A fire department spokesman told WHDH-TV that the truck apparently went through an intersection and into slammed into the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard apartment complex.
The truck lodged into the side of the building, several feet past a destroyed wall.
There are reports of injuries, but the number and extent are uncertain.
A person was seen being carried out on a stretcher by emergency crews.
