BEIRUT (AP) - U.N. observers have entered a village in central Syria where government forces reportedly killed dozens of people this week.
A spokesman for the U.N. mission says an 11-vehicle observer team entered the village today to "seek verification of the facts."
Anti-regime activists say at least 150 people were killed when government troops surrounded the village on Thursday and shelled it, then pro-regime thugs moved in and killed people in the streets.
