LIMA, Peru (AP) - Peruvian officials say they have located a helicopter that went down in the Andes with 14 people aboard, including eight South Koreans and three Europeans.
Police Gen. Hector Dulanto says it is not clear if those aboard survived.
Dulanto says the chopper was found on Mama Rosa mountain at an attitude of roughly 16,000 feed (4,900 meters).
Clouds, wind and rain have complicated the search for the Sikorsky S-58ET, which was on a flight to Cuzco on Wednesday when it went missing.
The Korean Embassy in Lima says the Koreans aboard had been exploring a potential hydroelectric project.
Police say the other foreigners aboard were a Dutchman, a Czech and a Swede.
