730 migrants have been saved by the Italian navy south of Sicily.The migrants, who departed from North Africa, are being taken to a province called Agrigento.
Authorities say 124 women and 29 children were among those rescued Wednesday. Some of the migrants are from African nations, particularly Eritrea and Somalia, while others have fled war-torn Syria, officials say.
