Explosions Kill 29 in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan -- NATO says an explosion has killed six service members in eastern Afghanistan.

The statement said the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device on Sunday, July 8th.

Earlier, Afghan and NATO authorities reported 23 additional deaths from roadside bombs and insurgent attacks in southern Afghanistan, including two members of the U.S.-led coalition.
