GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - An Israeli missile has flattened a two-story house in a residential neighborhood of Gaza City, as Palestinian militants in Gaza continue to fire rockets toward Israelis cities.
Health officials say at least 11 civilians, including an 80-year-old woman and four small children, were killed in the Gaza attack.
The Israeli military says the target of the attack was a top rocket mastermind of the Islamic Jihad militant group. Israeli forces began targeting the homes of more than a dozen suspected militants today.
Gaza officials say 70 Palestinians have now been killed in Israel's Gaza offensive, including 36 civilians.
