Argentina's Miracle Morgue Baby Now 4 Months Old

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) - Argentina's miracle morgue baby is 4 months old and closer to home.

Luz Milagros Veron was flown Thursday to a pediatric clinic closer to her home in provincial Chaco after months in intensive care in Buenos Aires.

The baby was born three months premature last April. Doctors said they sent her to the morgue because she showed no signs of life. She's alive today because her parents insisted on opening the coffin 12 hours later, and discovered the tiny girl crying, cold as ice.

Her name means "Miracle Light" in English.

Luz Milagros isn't ready to go home yet. She suffered neurological damage, still has internal bleeding and remains on a respirator.

Her mother, Analia Bouter, says she never lost faith.
