Sony Going Through Management Shakeup

TOKYO (AP) - Sony Corp. says it is shaking up its management:
Ryoji Chubachi is stepping down as president, but Chief Executive
Howard Stringer is staying on.

Details weren't immediately available, but the company said it
is holding a news conference later Friday on the new management
team.

Battered by plunging export demand for its TVs and electronics
gadgets, Sony is projecting its first annual net loss in 14 years
for the fiscal year through March. It has also announced plans to
cut 8,000 workers globally.
