LAS VEGAS (AP) - One of the plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit against the company that ran Nevada's health insurance exchange has died of cancer.

Officials at the Clark County Coroner's Office say 64-year-old Linda Rolain died at home Monday morning of lung cancer that had spread to her brain.

Her husband Roger said at a June 19 press conference that her treatments were delayed because of signup glitches and a miscommunication about the date her insurance coverage would take effect.

A Xerox spokesman declined a request for comment from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Rolain was part of a lawsuit filed in April alleging Nevadans who paid for coverage remained uninsured because of problems with the website.

Callister, Immerman and Associates, the firm that filed the suit, said they feared more cases like Rolain's.
