LAS VEGAS (AP) - Health officials say three people have died of flu-related complications in southern Nevada so far this season.
The Southern Nevada Health District reported Tuesday that two middle-aged people and an elderly person succumbed to the virus.
The district's chief health officer, Dr. Joe Iser, says the deaths serve as a stark reminder of how serious the flu can be and underscore the importance of getting a flu shot each year
