CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Officials say interest in Nevada's health insurance exchange exceeded expectations on its opening day.
A day after the launch of Nevada Health Link, officials with the state's online insurance market say many of the kinks that slowed the website on Tuesday have been resolved.
As of midday Wednesday, more than 42,000 unique users have visited the site, with more than 4,000 people creating accounts to access available health insurance policies.
The online exchange is part of federal the health care reform law that requires everyone to have health insurance beginning in 2014.
