Humans aren't the only ones fighting obesity.
A British charity called the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals aims to help pets slim down.
Some of the animals are as much as 80 percent overweight.
Veterinarians are also working with the pet owners on a new regimen to get their furry friends in a healthier state.
The winner of the competition will be announced in September, and the owner will receiving a year's worth of pet food, and a pet-friendly holiday at a Four Seasons hotel.
