GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (AP) - Customers of the new Walmart store in Gardnerville can get their medical ailments checked out while browsing the aisles for other shopping deals.
Carson Tahoe Health is announcing the opening of its latest clinic at Walmart. The clinic will be open seven days a week offer basic health care services and treat common health ailments, such as the flu and minor wounds. It will also provide camp and school physicals for children and offer common vaccinations.
The latest clinic is Carson Tahoe Health's third location in the region.
There are five other medical clinics at Walmart stores in Nevada.
Walmart now has medical clinics in 148 stores located in 26 states.
