Burn Code YELLOW for Monday Night

RENO, NV - Burn code is YELLOW Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Calm winds and cold overnight temperatures trap pollution in the Truckee Meadows. Hazy skies and moderate air quality conditions will continue until stronger winds help clean the air.

Residents of the Truckee Meadows are strongly encouraged to voluntarily reduce using their fireplaces, wood stoves, and pellet stoves until conditions improve. Reducing burning now can help prevent air pollution from reaching unhealthy levels.
