Hundreds of Washoe Students Need Vaccinations

RENO, NV - About a thousand seventh graders in Washoe County need to be immunized this week.

Traditional school kicks off Monday, August 30th, and many students don't have the current immunizations they're required to have to get back into school. Nevada law requires students going into 7th grade to get the T-dap vaccination against Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis.

All students enrolling in school for the first time have to have shots for Hepatitis-A, Hepatitis-B and Varicella.
