Posted: 01/02/2015 - Milder air is on the way, just in time for the weekend. While the upper elevations will warm into the upper 40s to low 50s, valley inversions will bring much slower warming to Reno-Sparks and Carson City. Valley highs over the weekend will struggle to warm into the upper mid 40s, while morning lows will fall into the teens. Expect sunny skies, but with inversions persisting, hazy conditions and deteriorating air quality will continue through the short-term. The warming trend will continue next week, with temperatures rising into the low 50s by Tuesday. No significant storms are in the picture at least the next seven days. -Jeff
