Nevada Lawmaker to Answer Questions About Arrest

A spokesman says a Nevada state Assembly member will explain his weekend arrest on a felony charge of threatening to harm at least one of his own state Assembly party leaders at a home in North Las Vegas.

Monday Night Web Weather

MLK Annual Caravan Honors Local Man As Well

Once again Monday, a convoy of cars left Northeast Reno's Second Baptist Church for a drive a portion of US-395. The caravan honored both the slain civil rights leader for which it is named, but a local man who fought for years for that designation.

Volunteers Mark MLK Day

Volunteers were busy sorting supplies at the Food Bank in Storey County Monday. Several people said they are volunteering to mark Martin Luther King Day. In the mid-90s congress designated the holiday as a day of service.

Fitness for Veterans

Fitness is no longer a limiting factor for disabled veterans and disabled members of the armed forces. The City of Reno hosts a program called 'Fit but Not Forgotten,' which helps them work out no matter what physical limitations they might face.
