Governor Responds To Hospital Scandal

Nevada's Governor is having to explain the actions of a psychiatric hospital accused of patient dumping. Reports from the Sacramento Bee indicate as many as 1500 patients were inappropriately discharged from the Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas throughout the last five years. All this has led to a federal investigation. San Francisco's City Attorney is also looking into the allegations.

This year all states, including Nevada, have been busy setting up health insurance exchanges so residents or small businesses can buy affordable health insurance. It may be confusing, and that's just what scammers are hoping for. Residents may think phone calls asking for Social Security or bank transfer numbers are part of the new program. They are not.
