Saturday Web Weather

Updated: 6:25 PM - Changes are coming in our weather over the weekend, although they are mild for October. A system in the Pacific Northwest will drag a weak cold front through the region as the ridge of high pressure starts to flatten and weaken a bit. The front will bring more wind to the forecast, especially in the afternoons/evenings to the Sierra and Sierra Front. Temperatures will also come down a bit, backing off of records for a few days (although still well above average for October). Another warming trend will come early next week, before the same system the brought rain a week ago cycles back into the weather picture for a potential round 2 Thursday and Friday. This abnormal October continues, as the first freeze is not in the forecast through at least the next 7 to 10 days. -Jeff
