RENO, NV - A gourmet pot pie restaurant opened this week. "Z Pie" is in the West Street Market in downtown Reno
All the proceeds from the restaurant go to the "Black Bear Project", which houses aged foster boys, too old to stay within the foster system.
The restaurant also employs the young men living in the house, so they can get job experience.
Business so far is more than anyone ever expected.
"We're so thrilled but we just hope it doesn't die off we need support, because we want to open more houses," says Z Pie owner Lynette Eddy.
It took about three months to get Z Pie ready for its grand opening.
The restaurant is open from 9am to 9pm. The owner says she plans on extending hours on the weekends.
