One woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing and burning her boyfriend while he was sleeping early Sunday morning.
Thirty-seven-year-old Antwanette Denis Dennis was arrested after police found her battered boyfriend inside 2745 Wrondel Way #E just before 2 a.m.
According to Reno Police, the victim claimed to have been in an argument with his girlfriend before falling asleep. He awoke to a stab wound in his chest and severe burns.
When he was found by a neighbor, the stab wound had been bandaged and he was wrapped in a blanket. Police do believe he was left lying in the residence for an unknown amount of time.
He is still hospitalized, but is expected to survive.
