LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas are investigating whether the same bullet that struck a man in the hand also wounded a woman in the head.
Officer Bill Cassell says the shooting happened a little before 3 a.m. Monday at a residence on a street near Charleston and Decatur boulevards.
The woman was hospitalized in critical condition with what Cassell called a life-threatening wound. Her name wasn't immediately made public.
Cassell says at least one shot was fired while the man who was wounded argued with the gunman.
A description of the gunman was incomplete. Cassell says only that police are looking for a male assailant.
