Woman in Critical Condition After She Was Struck by Minivan

A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a minivan Wednesday night.

Reno police say it happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of North Virginia Street and Talus Way.

The woman was crossing in the crosswalk when she was hit.
She was taken to Renown medical center.

The investigation is underway, but police don't think speed or alcohol were factors in the accident.
