RENO, Nev. (AP) - A woman has been arrested on suspicion of texting and drunken driving in connection with a crash that injured two construction workers.

Heather Dyer is accused of crashing into construction equipment in a controlled work zone Wednesday night on I-580 near Reno.

The Associated Press reports that two workers on the scene were sent to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. A wheel fell off a vehicle and hit one of the workers.

The Nevada Highway Patrol arrested the 20-year-old Dyer on charges of driving under the influence, texting while driving, driving with a suspended license, being a minor in possession of alcohol and failure to maintain a lane.

Her bail was set at $6,665, and she has since been released from the Washoe County jail.
