Woman Accused of Biting Deputy During Arrest

CARSON CITY, Nevada (AP) - A Carson City woman is facing several charges after police say she got in a fight with her roommate and bit an officer on the hand when she was being arrested.

The Nevada Appeal reports 42-year-old Jennifer Moose was arrested Friday night when three officers arrived at her residence.

According to a police report, Moose was yelling at her roommate to leave and pulled her around a bedroom by her arm.

While deputies were putting handcuffs on Moose, police say she twisted her wrist, which pinched one of the officer's fingers.

Records allege Moose then grabbed the deputy's wrist and bit his hand.

Moose is facing charges of domestic battery, battery on a peace officer and disorderly conduct and obstructing.
