WINNEMUCCA, NV - According to the USGS, a magnitude 3.4 earthquake shook Humboldt county Thursday afternoon. According to the preliminary report, the quake happened at 2:33pm about 2 miles WSW of downtown Winnemucca. KOLO 8 News Now spoke with residents who said buildings shook and windows rattled but no damage occurred.
