RENO, NV - Reno fire crews have put out a small brush fire along Carrol Drive in Sun Valley.

They say the fire started when wind broke a secondary power line near homes.

The fire burned less than an acre, but several homes and cars were threatened until the fire was put out.

NV Energy crews were there to fix the line and get power back to six customers in the neighborhood.

There was at least one other small brush fire in Reno today, also caused by a wind-downed power line.
