DAYTON, NV - The "Como Fire" in the Pine Nut Mountains southeast of Dayton, east of Carson City, has grown to about 830 acres, a slight reduction from Monday's first estimate, and is roughly 30% contained.
158 firefighters are fighting the fire by land and from air.
No homes are threatened and no one has been hurt. Investigators believe a lightning strike started the fire around noon Sunday.
Fire crews hope to have the fire fully contained sometime Thursday.
