A lot of people are worried about their holiday travel plans. This coming storm could make driving conditions dangerous for drivers heading out of town.
Some folks are heading out of town early, to try to beat the storm that's headed our way later today.
On I-80 this morning near Mogul, a few truck drivers pulled over to check out their chains. That's a good thing to have if you plan to travel through the mountains over the weekend.
Last December, a semi-truck jackknifed on I-80 as it traveled through the Sierra. That accident caused a huge backup that stranded other cars for hours. Holiday travelers are hoping the same kind of thing does not happen this year.
KOLO 8 News Now's Facebook fans posted their fears and concerns. Some people said they're not going to head to California as planned anymore because of the weather. And plenty of people had stories of when they decided, in the past, to drive through a storm in the Sierra anyway, only to regret it later.
