RENO, NV - Today we get more sun, more heat and less wind than yesterday. High pressure to our north causes sinking air. When air sinks it is very hard to get any substantial cloud cover. Strong June sun will help our temperatures get back into the 70°s this afternoon.
A slow storm brushes us by to the north as we head into the end of the workweek. The Truckee Meadows should see warmer temperatures, a bit of a breeze Thursday afternoon with showers staying to our north. Friday the wind cranks up even more.
