RENO, NV - Today we are feeling the impacts of the smaller of two storms moving through this weekend. Temperatures will stay in the 50°s this afternoon with an outside chance for isolated thunderstorms.
We will see breezy conditions today and even stronger winds tomorrow as the next storm moves toward the Truckee Meadows.
Storm number two brings some heavy snow to the Sierra. We could see a foot or two of snow by Friday afternoon above 7000 feet. It will be mostly rain in western Nevada, but we should see a rain/snow mix by late Thursday night into Friday.
