Reno Bike Project Annual art show set for April...Submissions being taken right now!

Reno, (Nev.)- RBP is calling all artists to submit bike-related art to RBP’s retail location at 541 E. 4th Street for their annual fundraising art show called We HeArt Bikes. Submissions can be made until April 11 at 5pm. The show will be at the Holland Project on April 19.

This is one of RBP’s most anticipated events of the year. Over 50 artists are showcased and many community members attend to celebrate bike culture. “We are always excited to see the amazing mix of creative bike art from regional artists” said RBP Executive Director, Noah Silverman. “Each year this event attracts hundreds of people and we get to showcase some of the best artists in the community who create art specifically for this event.”

The Reno Bike Project is a non-profit community bicycle shop and advocacy group committed to creating a nationally recognized, cycling-friendly community in the Truckee Meadows. Since 2006, the bike project has worked through advocacy, education and cooperation to increase enthusiasm about bicycling as a positive lifestyle and transportation alternative. The organization is built around the belief that the bicycle is the world’s greatest, most utilized mode of transportation and that every individual, regardless of age, gender, race, or class has a right to afford, maintain, and enjoy one.
